About the San Carlos Apache Reservation
San Carlos Apache College is located on the San Carlos Apache Reservation, which is home to members of the San Carlos Apache Tribe. San Carlos is located approximately 100 miles southeast of Phoenix and 130 miles northeast of Tucson. The conference will be held at the Apache Gold Casino and Resort, which sits on the edge of the San Carlos Apache Reservation and is only 15 minutes from the neighboring town of Globe. Aside from booking a room at Apache Gold, there are also several lodging options available in Globe. There are two major airports available to fly into, each with their own unique scenic drives to get to San Carlos. Car rentals are available at both airports. It is important to note that there is on-going construction on the route from Phoenix to San Carlos.
